Hydrostatic and ultrasonic testing are the industry standard methods of recertifying pressure vessels and compressed gas cylinders to determine whether they are safe for continued use. Testing and cylinder requalification is required by the Department of Transportation for all cylinder types including SCBA, SCUBA, fire extinguishers, oxygen cylinders, paintball cylinders, and a wide variety of industrial gas cylinders.

Cylinder recertification: Hydrostatic or Ultrasonic testing
Exterior blasting and painting: Our cylinder blasting process removes all paint, scale, and exterior contaminants, preparing the surface for fresh exterior coatings that protect your cylinders and extend their service life.
Valves and replacement cylinders: Channel Innovations carries replacement parts and replacement cylinders to help meet your cylinder needs.
If you have DOT or ISO cascade cylinders, they must be tested every 5 years (DOT) and 10 years (ISO). CIC offers a Hydro Swap program where we bring ISO or DOT bottles, tested and painted, to your facility and swap for your bottles. You keep ours and we keep yours. This minimizes cost and down time and keeps you operational same day.
